Central Station in Belfast has officially been renamed Lanyon Place station. The change in name is part of significant improvements to the station connected with the introduction of the Glider service. Works to the frontage of the station including upgraded footways connected to the adjacent Glider Halt and new stepped and ramped access to the building are now complete.
Refurbishment of the interior of the station is continuing and will eventually include new ticket offices and a Changing Places Toilet facility.
